SBA Requires Site Inspections and Valuations

The SBA requires site inspections to be performed on the onset of originating an SBA loan to prove/verify the business existence and to identify collateral/assets. The SBA also requires site inspections throughout the servicing and in the event of default on the sba loan and eventual liquidation of a business.  The Lender/Bank thus needs site inspections

Appraisals/Valuations

In the event of liquidation, the bank/lender is required to submit a liquidation plan to the SBA in order for the SBA guarantee to be approved and kick in. Part of the liquidation plan involves performing site inspections and identifying and valuing any assets present with the failed business.  The Lender/Bank thus needs Appraisals/Valuations.
